Participating Pilots:

Laser - V-22 Osprey
Lurch - V-22 Osprey
VballJim - Beech Twin Engine

Today, we departed from Oudtshoorn, South Africa, (FAOH) and flew to;

Port Elizabeth, South Africa (FAPE) about a 200 mile trip.

Details:

After departing Oudtshoorn, we flew eastward along the South African coastline and landed at:

Port Elizabeth Airport (FAPE).

So far the V-22 doesn't appear to have a GPS display. It does have VOR/TACAN capability, but at the time we couldn't figure out how to use it. Also, we found out the hard way that if the V-22 engines are stressed for longer than 60 seconds, they will be damaged and my shut down.

That region of Africa is mostly desert plateau, with large mountain ranges to the north. We traveled mostly east along the coastal plain.

Real world weather was loaded.
