Debrief 09/11/17: Hurricane (Irma) Hunter Simulation

Today, we attempted to simulate a Hurricane Hunter Mission, although we were a little late. The target was Hurricane Irma. We missed the main power of the storm in Florida and didn't fly the mission until it was in Georgia. By then, it was just a tropical storm and we flew it at night. Therefore, we didn't see much.

We departed from SW Ga Regional(KABY) in Albany Georgia and flew to Columbus Metro Airport (KCSG), also in Georgia. At the time, that was where the storm was centered. We encountered some turbulence, as was expected.
