Today, we departed from Ruacana, Namibia (FYRC) (Africa)and flew to;

Operet, Namibia (FYOU)

Tsumeb, Namibia (FYTM) about a 300 mile trip.

The initial plan was to fly to Tsumeb first, then on to Maun, Botswana and fly over the Etosha National Park. But,
we were running low on fuel and had to divert to Operet, an airfield to the south. But there were no Fuel facilities , so we had to initiate a manual refueling. We then continued on to Tsumeb.

Also, the Flight Path took us too far north of the National Park, so we never did fly over it.

We discovered that when landing or taking off in the T-20, make sure you turn off the Master Auto Pilot switches. Otherwise the aircraft will attempt to turn , adjust speed and heading, etc as if still headed toward the programmed destination. Doesn't make for a safe takeoff or landing.

That area of Africa is somewhat of a Plateau, at about 3000ft above sea level. Real world weather was loaded.
