Today, we departed the area of Gibraltar, Spain and toured around the west side of the harbor and "The Rock". We then headed due south across the Straight of Gibraltar to northern Africa. We set down at Tetouan Airfield in Morocco. We then departed Morocco and landed back at Gibraltar (LXGB), barely a 50 mile trip.

Real world weather conditions were encountered. Weather was mostly sunny, departing the Gibraltar. However, there was dense fog over northern Africa. The terrain in this region, was somewhat flat desert with mountains near the coast.

One lesson learned; The Augusta Westland is HUGE!
