Arma change

Post by Lurch » Mon Jan 18, 2021 4:32 pm

Just curious to see if anyone reads the boards anymore.
So here is the scoop. For months, most appear to have lost interest in Arma. We however, after being urged to stick with it, now do it ourselves.

So, HB has made changes to suit us, since nobody is around much anyway, except Laser or Showboat.
As of now, there is
-REPAWN in place with Full Arsenal if needed.
-No more HALO in the chute unless you want to.
-Actually you can jump, but not open the chute, to land quicker.(Splat)
-No need for med kits or healing.
-No more getting over whelmed and have to start all over if someone couldn't be in the circle long enough.
-Biggest thing is no more wasted time being shot/injured and more game play.
-Way more Fun

This is how we are doing it.

Just my 2 cents, but again I don't do ArmA that often..

I personally like a little challenge and staying alive was the challenge. Now it is just a kill fest w/o any penalty for dying anyway.

I do understand that 3 guys cannot defeat the large cities, so in the end with low attendance it might not be a bad idea..

Just my opinion but I personally got bored doing the same thing over and over again. It just seemed far too easy with no sense of accomplishment for winning.

If we were to play online against other humans I would be super interested as there would be a good challenge and it would be completely different every time.
