NOTAM : Mission #39 - Wed 12/12/18

All Pilots. As discussed, the next Campaign mission will make use of F-18D Hornets. After considerable research, there are only a few aircraft in BMS, which are TASMO & SEAD Capable:
F-18 Hornet
Mirage
Tornado
Harrier
Of those, only the Hornet can carry the Harpoon. The other aircraft carry their own version of an anti-ship missle. The F-18D is land based from Tesara and Slovenj Gradec. Tesara AB did not have enough pilots. Both bases are quite a distance away.
The F-18C is Carrier Capable, but it may be a bad idea to attempt carrier ops, without some prior training.
This mission should be used to continue taking out the Patrol Craft and Strike the Carrier on the next one.
As such, details of the mission for Wednesday are listed below. Make sure you select the correct Squadron before entering the Campaign.
Mission #39 is scheduled for Wed, 12/12/18 21:00 hrs est. This is an 8-Ship TASMO/SEAD Combo departing from Slovenj Gradec. JOIN the 225th F-18D Fighter Squadron, upon entering the Campaign. Files are uploaded to the Briefing Browser.
