From his son:
"On this day before Easter, I finally have the time to say goodbye on behalf of my father, Bill. Although we still aren't completely sure what happened, Bill was found dead in his apartment by some friends who came for a visit on March 10. He was the most creative person I ever knew. And he was probably the craziest. Although we had a complicated relationship, what was never complicated was his love for me or for God. In the end, his is a resurrection story too. We have decided not to have a formal memorial service, but instead to spread his ashes in a private ceremony in California--where his heart always lived. Thank you to all of you who were friends to Bill. This account will close as soon as it seems appropriate."
I have not the words at this time. I wanted everybody to know.
