How stupid is Fed Ex

Pretty stupid if I say so myself. My Warthog was sent overnight from Newegg.. here is Fed Ex brillaint shipping plan....

3:26 am At destination sort facility LAS VEGAS, NV(2 hours from my house by truck)
12:39 pm Arrived at FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN(5 hours by plane from my house)

And people wonder why it costs so much to send packages. Holly hell I would have driven to vegas to get it if I knew they would send it to Memphis...
Also note this was sent Overnight. Wont arrive until Monday. Going to contact Newegg and have them dispute these delivery charges.
Whomever is in charge of logistics on the routing of this package is an absolute idiot. Im sure mine is not alone to Southern Utah at a distance of 180 miles from Vegas.
