Another Great Flight Night

Post by Lurch » Sun Aug 24, 2014 11:12 am

We had another good flight last night with 6-ships and all landed safely. We still have some growing pains, but we are getting by those. Our top priority is getting the Package off on time in a reasonable time. That is requiring training/tutorials of some basics, which appears to be working. Some simple standards will be helpful, that all pilots can do on their own before and after GUI. Off the top of my head and feel free to change/add/delete.

I'll be printing this out, cause I'm too dang Geezerish to remember it all. Also, My series of TE's are based out of Mandumi, so I will be printing out the Approach Plate. That way there is no guessing. Enjoy

Before Falcon:

Check Keyboard

Check/Load your HOTAS Profile if any

(A standard could be Escort-V6: SEAD: V7: AG: V8)

Locate Flight Lead

Set any ordnance parameters( Arming Delays, Single/Pair, CCIP/CCRP, etc)

(ICP: “List”, “Enter”, “Seq”, DCS Switch to scroll to second column of Blank entries)
(type in a flight number 21, “Enter” 22, “Enter” , etc when done hit “Return”)

Turn on Data Link
(Left MFD: Upper Right, Push “Assign” to “Cont”: COMMS Switch “Left” and hold for a second or two)

Aircraft Lights to solid

Don't move until Flight Lead calls Taxi
