Falcon BMS Tutorials starting

Post by Lurch » Fri Aug 22, 2014 11:23 am

Guys,

First what Laser said in the "Scheduled Events" Post. He's referring to Below:

You may notice on the calendar, that a tutorial has been scheduled for Falcon BMS. We have been getting more renewed interest in Flying Falcon BMS, especially since we have had as many as 8 pilots in a successful connection/mission. There will be other Tutorial events.

The tutorials are for those new or getting back into Falcon. This is the time set aside to help get things up and running.

The Reason: We want to have those who want to fly Falcon, come online at mission time, On Time, Brief and Fly. We can't do that if the only time scheduled is Mission Flight Nights. Hence the need for some kind of Tutorial/Training Time.

The Tutorials may be on short notice so check the BBS often. Perhaps a TeamSpeak BMS Tutorial/Training channel is in order.

So, first round of Tutorials will be simple, with 3 main objectives.

1st (and foremost) Get your 4-way COMMS Switch set up for in-game IVC and test them. We don't want to be in combat and having to use TeamSpeak.

2nd Joining a Falcon Flight and all the related settings.

3rd Obtaining and entering the Flight Numbers in the DED. (So we can see where all aircraft in the package are at all times)

4th Use and settings of the data cartridge.

Laser and/or I will be there. See you then.
