Tonight we defended the USS Enterprise in the south Pacific near Tinakula Island. We flew the Corsair, The P63 Aerocobra, which is very maneuverable and well armed. We also flew Me 410's, a twin engine Nazi plane with a lot of fire power.
Then we flew ops off the north coast of Africa in the Hawker Tempest. The location, is west of Tobruk on the northern coast of Libya. The target area is now in what is present day Acroma. Lurch was the only survivor on that one.
- Ah ya only need one engine anyway!
