Debrief 06/14/15: Pacific Fleet Carrier Ops-Enterprise

Vball Laser and Lurch flew CAP over the Enterprise to stop inbound enemy bombers. Corsairs were the flavor of the day
- Laser flying over the USS Lexington at 22,000 ft flying CAP.
- Laser over 23,000 ft - Look at the curvature of the earth :)
- Lurch attempting to land a BENT Wildcat!
- Lurch's engine gave out on him and he fell short of the carrier. He was able to bail out and float around until a U.S. Floatplane picked him up! LOL!
- Laser, Lurch and Vball on the USS Enterprise preparing for take off!
***** Laser get's shot in the face by the rear gunner of a G4 Betty Bomber.. Sorry no pics of this.. Hehehe *****
- Lurch over the 3 wire, pancakes his BENT Corsair, but survives to fly again!
- Vball on Short Final in landing configuration. He makes a beautiful landing here... Nice Job Jim.
We Flew two missions last night, one was flying CAP over the U.S. Fleet in Coral Sea w/ the F4F Wildcat and the other was flying CAP for the Enterprise off the Santa Cruz Islands
