IL-2 Mission 01/18/15: OCA on Liesten, Germany

The 16th Tigers flew a squad of P-51D's on a strike over Listen Germany. A group of the latest ME-262 Jet Aircraft were scheduled to land there for deployment. Laser, Sniper and Lurch flew two missions and attacked from 10000 feet. There was heavy AAA, 190's and 109's on patrol. We inflicted some moderate damage on the first flight. The 2nd flight resulted in much more damage to enemy ground forces, aircraft, including the ME-262's. But eventually, we were all killed, virtually speaking.
