Debrief 12/25/16:16th CA Cyborg- Pre-Planed CAS

I forgot to take a picture of the debrief.

4 Ship pre planned CAS attacking a tank battalion with Mavericks.

Cyborg took lead and Silverhawk was Element Lead.

Both of us had issues getting the mavericks to handoff correctly and will need more training before we do another Campaign mission. Silverhawk was hit by a SA9 about 25 miles from the target area. We were not expecting any SAMS that close to the coast. He managed to eject safely and SAR was called. Cyborg attempted to attack the target and got two missiles off before being damaged by AAA. 1 hit and kill on a ZSU and one miss. Our AI also got a kill. Cyborg had an engine failure from the AAA hit but managed to restart and make it back to the base.

We should probably practice with the missiles and start having one human pilot watch for sams while the other is heads down targeting.

I agree Cyborg. I should have gone trail and stayed A-A while you make a run on the target. I'm sure we will be able to successfully get the mavs off. Now I know how Lurch feels. LOL Just kidding Lurch
