Debrief 10/1 Kwail Airbase Strike

Mission occurred around Midnight, it was a long flight at the hour that hour of the day. Cyborg and Mojoe flew escort and SilverHawk and Showboat flew strike. There was also a AI SEAD flight as well. Mojoe and Cyborg defended the strike group against a couple Mig23s that looks like they took off from Kwail. Both were dispatched but Cyborg was hit. Silverhawk and Showboat dropped JDAMS GBU 31s onto runway and destroyed two sections. Luckily we did a standoff attach as the flack was pretty at altitude lighting up my aircraft but it was better than dealing wit the shoulder lunched missile at low altitude.

Was hoping to find out if we could use just one GBU-31 on a section of runway but the data was inconclusive. SilverHawks first bomb destroyed his section but Showboats section took the second bomb to destroy it.
