This was a successful Failure. We lost the Escort lead, while deep in enemy territory, since the escort was jumped by numerous Migs. However, the mission was immediately aborted and all remaining aircraft returned safely. Details to follow;

News Flash: After review of the debrief, it has come to light that Viper 1-2 shot down Viper 1-1. Looks like Showboat will be suffering Slammerectalitis for weeks.
