07/31/14: 16th TE (Laser) Israeli TO Training

This was a good test/training mission. We had 7 pilots in a TE, pretty much flawless except for a couple incidents, which are not believed to be software or connection related.

However we did have an accidental friendly fire incident, just prior to landing.

Those who flew;

Laser: Fury1
Maggott: Fury2
Lurch: Fury3
PLO Weasel: Fury4

EaszyE:Cowboy1
Sniper:Cowboy2
Vball:Cowboy3

Fury 1 exploded on the taxi way for some reason.

We flew hundreds of miles in Israel, practiced bombing several Nuke plants and we were attempting to RTB.
Fury4 was experimenting with "practice" AMRAMS and relayed comms that while attempting to launch on Fury2, the AMRAMS just fell away

Meantime Cowboy flight was RTB and Cowboy 1 pulled up alongside Cowboy3 to inspect his unique 2-seat F-16.
Cowboy 2, began to experiment with the "practice" AMRAMS and launched one at Cowboy 1. However, the missle was apparently not "Practice" hit Cowboy1, exploded and the explosion also hit Cowboy 3 and both planes were completely destroyed in a gigantic fireball seen by Fury Flight, 20 miles away.

Anyway, Fury flight landed safely at home plate.

Yeah other than my Viper blowing up on the runway when entering the mission, and of course the friendly shooting.. this was a good mission. What I mean is, inside the 16th, we are slowing growing interest in BMS again as you can see from the attendance here. We even had MadCat in the background setting up his BMS.. So he should be able to fly with us on our next flight. Good Stuff Guys!
