The 16th flew sorties over Wake Island and a CAP over the USS Enterprise. Pilots were Coolio, Laser, Lurch and Sniper. Laser was the sole survivor at the final of each mission. Coolio had some successful carrier takeoffs.

Laser and Lurch flew several strikes on Odonga Airbase from Both Munda Point and Carrier Ops. We flew F4U-1C's, SBD-5's and TBM Avengers. This was a night mission, (Flown 4:00 PM). There were numerous enemy armor units destroyed, but Avenger 1-2 and 1-3 collided on touchdown at home plate. This was mission was a Partial Success, as Falcon didn't know what our actual objects were.

Yes and nice 2-wheel trap on the carrier, with Laser at the wheel and Lurch in the gun turret. We lost a wheel over the virtual Florida Island, Guadal Canal.
